01 / Infrastructure
Where your
data goes.
Account services and remote-session relays have different jobs. Here is what each handles.
US-hosted services. Transient global relays.
All primary account data, authentication, telemetry, and session logs are hosted exclusively on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Relay nodes in the United States and Germany help connect your devices when a direct connection is unavailable.
| Service | Location | Data handling |
|---|---|---|
| Account & authentication | United States / AWS | Primary account data and authentication. |
| Diagnostics & session logs | United States / AWS | Operational telemetry and session metadata, not screen or remote-input content. |
| Relay network | United States & Germany | Relay servers process session traffic as necessary to provide remote connectivity. GlintDesk does not persistently store relayed session content. |
02 / Privacy & AI
Your work.
Not training data.
Our zero-training and zero-sale commitments apply to how GlintDesk handles your data.
No AI model training
GlintDesk never uses your prompts, source code, terminal outputs, screen streams, or telemetry to train our own or third-party AI models.
No selling your data
We do not sell or rent your personal or session data, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Service providers may process limited data to operate GlintDesk, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Data handling and privacy
GlintDesk does not persistently store remote-session content or Agent Console conversations on its servers. Our infrastructure processes the operational data needed for authentication, device connectivity, service reliability, and troubleshooting.
03 / Encryption
Encryption &
Connection Security
Remote Desktop Encryption
GlintDesk protects remote desktop video using WebRTC's built-in media encryption.
Direct peer-to-peer connections are used when available, with relay connectivity when needed.
Agent Console Security
Agent Console messages travel over HTTPS/TLS-protected connections between your device, GlintDesk's infrastructure, and your Windows PC.
These messages are not currently end-to-end encrypted. Our servers technically have the ability to access message content during relay processing, but GlintDesk does not store or log Agent Console conversation content.
Supported AI agents run on your own Windows computer, not on GlintDesk's servers.
